  • What does the Free Developer edition include?
    Up to 50 endpoints across all protocols (REST, SOAP, GraphQL, gRPC), 50 mocks, 50 workflows (10 steps each), 1 concurrent test run, 3 Auth Profiles per project, the Local Runner desktop app, and AI test/mock generation with your own API key. Reports include a "Powered by Shift-Left Studio" watermark.
  • How long does the Free license last?
    The Free Developer license is valid for 6 months from the day you sign up. When it expires, simply sign up again with the same email and you will receive a fresh 6-month license — completely free.
  • What happens if I sign up again before my license expires?
    You will see a friendly message reminding you that you already have an active Free license, and we will email you a copy of your existing key. You can re-register only after your current license has expired.
  • Do I need a credit card?
    No. No credit card is required. Just your name, email, and company.
  • What if I need more than 50 endpoints / workflows?
    Our Professional and Enterprise editions remove all caps and unlock the Scheduler, Dashboard, Analytics, Audit Logs, Public API, Jenkins integration, MCP server, Test Run Packs, RBAC, and more. Visit our pricing page to learn more.
  • Is my data sent anywhere?
    No. Shift-Left Studio is fully self-hosted. Your tests, endpoints, and credentials live only on your own infrastructure. AI features call your own provider keys directly.
  • How do I upgrade later?
    Enter your Professional or Enterprise license key in Settings → License inside the app. Your data stays in place; only the feature gates open up.
