What It Does

The Test Scheduler automates your API regression testing by running test packs on a recurring schedule, so your APIs are checked around the clock without anyone pressing Run. Choose a simple interval or a cron expression for fine-grained control, set the time zone, and optionally end the schedule on a date or after a set number of runs. Each scheduled run produces a full execution report with a pass/fail breakdown, response times and assertion results, all visible in reporting. When a run finishes, the notifications you chose go out by email, Slack, Teams or webhook with a link to the report. Over time, analytics compares scheduled runs to surface regressions, flaky tests and slowing endpoints.

A clock and the cron expression 0 6 * * 1-5 schedule the Nightly regression pack for weekdays at 06:00 against staging; runs fire Monday to Friday on a timeline, Thursday reports 3 failures and sends an email alert, and the run history lists every scheduled result

Overview

Schedule test packs to run once, every N minutes or hours, daily, weekly, monthly, or with a standard cron expression, in the time zone you choose. Stop a schedule on a date or after a number of runs. Scheduled runs execute on the Shift-Left Engine, and each produces a full report in the run history. Get notified on pass, fail, completion or error by email, Slack, Microsoft Teams or webhook, and compare results across scheduled executions to catch intermittent failures. Use it for continuous API health checks, nightly regression suites in staging and periodic checks before a release.
